In this webinar, we’ll talk about what is too much mucus and the steps you can take to help reduce the amount of mucus you are producing.
We’ll also give you the knowledge and expertise around the importance of skin health and how this can be affected by excessive mucus production.

Brushing your teeth every day is a habit for most of us, but it might surprise you how important it can be for your overall health, especially when living with a neck stoma.
We will be joined by Emma, a specialist oral health practitioner who will provide valuable information on maintaining optimal oral hygiene and preventing serious health complications which can arise when ignored.

Troubleshooting your voice prosthesis leakage
27th February, 2pm
You will receive practical demonstration on how to clean your voice prosthesis and how to check for leakage.
Our qualified nurses and speech and language therapists will provide you with advice and guidance on how to solve your voice prosthesis issues. Plus, there will be a chance for you to ask questions.

Breaking barriers on International Women’s Day

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we are hosting a panel of inspirational women who are living with a tracheostomy or a total laryngectomy.
These women will be telling their stories and sharing their experiences on how having a life-changing surgical procedure has affected them and will be giving their advice on how to overcome potential hurdles.

Our experts will provide practical tips on how to get started with HMEs and how to track your progress day and night. You’ll also hear from patients about their experiences using HMEs day and night and find out ways to improve pulmonary health and the importance of hydration, humidification and HMEs.

Life at home living with your tracheostomy

An open discussion workshop with one of our nurses, covering everything about life at home now you have a tracheostomy. This is a great chance to chat to others and get some useful tips about what you can do at home, to make life easier. This could include, how to set up a cleaning station, what portable nebuliser to use and what to keep in your emergency kit when away from home.
