Kapitex Cleaning Brush (Trachi-Brush) are used to clean laryngectomy and tracheostomy tubes to help keep them clean and free of mucus and debris. Available in four sizes, and in packs of two. Brush head length – 90 mm. The brushes are produced with polypropylene bristles, spirally bound in stainless steel and molded into a plastic handle.

Kapitex Cleaning Brush 12mm is designed mainly for use with silver tracheostomy tubes and is not recommended for plastic or silicone tubes. Plastic tubes (PVC, polyurethane and silicone) can be cleaned but care must be taken to avoid damaging the tube.
