Recently, we have successfully obtained registration with the CQC as an independent nursing service. As such, our nursing service adheres to the robust governance of the Care Quality Commission and we provide the high standard of care expected of an NHS contractor.
To help support your patients in the community, we provide a complimentary CQC registered Nursing service to your patients.
Our Atos Care Nursing team can work closely with you to understand your patient’s needs and can provide support to patients via video calls, text messages, emails or a home visit; allowing your patients choice and flexibility, and helping to free up your clinic time.
Our Nursing team can help with areas such as:
• Learning to clean and care for the stoma
• Understanding and using HMEs
• Troubleshooting challenges with baseplates, dressings and skin health
• Adjusting to life after a laryngectomy or tracheostomy
Our Atos Care Nursing team is made up of specialist Head and Neck Nurses who are experienced in caring for patients with a neck stoma. We will always work closely with you and the multidisciplinary team to ensure your patient receives safe, effective and joined-up care.
